Small Groups

Hello,
My name is Geoff Skelton and I am the elder at Faith Church responsible for small groups. Are you already involved in a small group? Great! Share with others the joys of being in a small group. Are you looking for a small group? Here is a list of current groups that you might want to check out:
- Leader: Thom Welch - This is a Men's Bible study that meets on Friday mornings at Big Boy on the corner of Tienken and Rochester Road. They are open to one more man and if more are interested, they will consider splitting the group. They meet all year. (248-651-6196)
- Leader: Dave Raetz - This group is open to anyone and meets the 2nd Friday of each month at his house. They eat (potluck), sing, and have a prayer and sharing time. Children are welcome. (248-935-8208)
- Leader: Charity Linder - 4-5 people meeting once per month at Church Sunday afternoon. Studying the Holiness of God by Jerry Bridges. Open to new people. (248-373-3172)
- Leader: Craig Cooley - a new group forming in the Clarkston area. Date and frequency to be agreed upon. The format will be snacks, desserts, and a study that is biblically based with discussion moderated by Craig. Oh, and did we say snacks and desserts? (248-273-4379)
In addition there are four Friendship Circles run by the women's ministry:
- 2nd Monday at 7 - 9pm at Judy Kortryk's home - Leader Doris Cuthbertson (248-651-7719)
- 2nd Tuesday at 7 - 9pm at Monica Campbell's home - Leader Sarah Zowada (248-650-1515)
- 2nd Friday at 9:30am – 12pm at Shirley Pobur's Home - Leader Debbie Zeeb (248-651-2391)
These 3 groups above are doing the study: Following God: Life Principles from Women of the Bible by Wayne Barber - 3rd Monday at 7:30 - 10pm at the church: Circle is for Mom's with Young Children - Leaders: Maria Sewell and Julie Magro (248-236-0445). They are doing a Mom's Devotional Study
