Upcoming Women of Faith (WOF) Events
- Ladies Nite Out – Thursday, February 23, 6:30p: Join us at Macaroni Grill (on Squirrel Road) for a wonderful evening of laughs, conversation and great food. Stop by the WOF table to sign up.
- Help needed for the WOF 'Family Fun Night' Outreach at Haven Shelter in Pontiac, Monday, March 5, 6-7:30p: The evening will consist of 3 children's craft projects and creative/delicious "decorate your own cookie" snack time. We also want to bless the moms at the shelter with a gift of handmade potholders as a symbol of encouragement from the ladies of Faith Church. You can help: Provide cookies, cookie decorating supplies, donate money for craft kits, sew/knit potholders, or be an on-site helper (set-up, help with activities, interact with moms and kids, clean-up). On-site helpers will meet at church at 4:30p to carpool, and plan to be at the shelter from 5-8p to allow for set-up and clean-up. Sign-up today at the WOF table in the lobby. - WOF Book Club: If you are interested, please sign up at the WOF table. The first info meeting will be Tuesday, February 21, 7p, at home of Pat Wittenbach. Our first book will be 'Rooms' by James Rubart. We will not discuss the book until the second meeting. Please bring book suggestions with you to the first meeting.
